National Anthem of Pakistan

Pakistan is one of the countries that share boundaries with India. Both the countries Pakistan and India were under the slavery of United Kingdom. Pakistan became independent on 14^th August, 1947 whereas India became independent on 15^th August, 1947.

The National Anthem of Pakistan was adopted in August, 1954. The National Anthem of Pakistan was written by Hafeez Jullundhri. The music for the National Anthem of Pakistan was composed by Ahmed G Chagla. The original version of National Anthem of Pakistan is in Urdu. تُو نِشانِ عَزمِ عالی شان

!اَرضِ پاکِستان

مَرکَزِ یَقِین شاد باد

پاک سَرزَمِین کا نِظام

قُوَّتِ اُخُوَّتِ عَوام

قَوم، مُلک، سَلطَنَت

!پایِندَه تابِندَه باد

شاد باد مَنزِلِ مُراد

پَرچَمِ سِتَارَه و ہِلال

رَہبَرِ تَرَقّی و کَمال

تَرجُمانِ ماضی، شانِ حال

!جانِ اِستِقبال

Happy be the bounteous realm

Thou symbol of high resolve,

O Land of Pakistan!

Blessed be the citadel of faith.

The order of this sacred land,

The might of the brotherhood of the people

May the nation, the country, and the state,

Shine in glory everlasting!

Blessed be the goal of our ambition.

The flag of the crescent and star,

Leads the way to progress and perfection,

Interpreter of our past, glory of our present,

Inspiration for our future!
