National Anthem of Mexico – United Mexican States

Mexico, officially called the United States of Mexico, is a federal republic in North America. Mexico is the fifth geographically largest country in the Americas by total area and the 13th largest independent nation in the world. With an estimated over 113 million people, it is the eleventh most populous and the most populous Spanish-speaking country and the second most populous Latin American country. Mexico is a federation comprising thirty-one states and a Federal District.
The "Mexican National Anthem" is also known as "Mexicans, at the cry of war," is the national anthem of Mexico. The National Anthem of Mexico was first used in 1854, whilst it was not officially adopted until 1943 right words to the National Anthem of Mexico, which allude to Mexican military victories in the historic heat of battle whose cries of defending the homeland, were composed by Francisco González Bocanegra after a national competition in 1853, later in 1854, he asked, Jaime Nuno compose music that now accompanies González's poem. The National Anthem of Mexico, consisting of ten stanzas and a chorus, actually entered service 16th September, 1854.
Officially since 1943, the full National Anthem of Mexico consists of the choir, 1st, 5th, 6th and the 10th stanzas. Changing text was ordered by President Manuel Ávila Camacho in a decree published in the Official Journal of the Federación. When the National Anthem of Mexico is played at sporting events like the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup Games the only parts of the National Anthem of Mexico that are played are the chorus, first verse and chorus.

National Anthem of Mexico in Spanish:
Coro:

Mexicanos, al grito de guerra
el acero aprestad y el bridón.
Y retiemble en sus centros la Tierra,
al sonoro rugir del cañón.
Y retiemble en sus centros la Tierra,
al sonoro rugir del cañón!

Estrofa I:

Ciña ¡oh Patria! tus sienes de oliva
de la paz el arcángel divino,
que en el cielo tu eterno destino
por el dedo de Dios se escribió.
Mas si osare un extraño enemigo
profanar con su planta tu suelo,
piensa ¡oh Patria querida! que el cielo
un soldado en cada hijo te dio.

Estrofa V:

¡Guerra, guerra sin tregua al que intente
De la patria manchar los blasones!
¡Guerra, guerra! Los patrios pendones
En las olas de sangre empapad.
¡Guerra, guerra! En el monte, en el valle
Los cañones horrísonos truenen,
Y los ecos sonoros resuenen
Con las voces de ¡Unión! ¡Libertad!

Estrofa VI:

Antes, patria, que inermes tus hijos
Bajo el yugo su cuello dobleguen,
Tus campiñas con sangre se rieguen,
Sobre sangre se estampe su pie.
Y tus templos, palacios y torres
Se derrumben con hórrido estruendo,
Y sus ruinas existan diciendo:
De mil héroes la patria aquí fue.

Estrofa X:

¡Patria! ¡Patria! Tus hijos te juran
Exhalar en tus aras su aliento,
Si el clarín con su bélico acento
los convoca a lidiar con valor.
¡Para ti las guirnaldas de oliva!
¡Un recuerdo para ellos de gloria!
¡Un laurel para ti de victoria!
¡Un sepulcro para ellos de honor!
National Anthem of Mexico in English:
Chorus:
Mexicans, at the cry of war
and the steel flange.
And in their centres resemble Earth
the cannon.
And in their centres resemble Earth
the cannon!

Stanza:

Gird, oh country of your brow with olive
the divine archangel of peace,
It is in heaven your eternal destiny
by the finger of God was written.
If a foreign enemy, but
With their profane your ground
think, oh beloved country from heaven
a soldier in each are given to you.

Stanza V:

War, war without truce to all those who give you
Dull the coat of arms!
War, war! The patriotic banners
In waves of blood.
War, war! On the mountain, in the valley
The thunder of the guns terrifying
Echoes nobly resound and
With the voices of the Union! Freedom!

Stanza VI:

Country, before your children become unarmed
Under the yoke their necks in sway,
Your country is watered by the blood,
On their feet trample blood.
And your temples, palaces and towers
Reduce with horrible clamour
And their ruins continue on, saying:
A thousand heroes here was home.

Stanza X:

Fatherland Fatherland! Your children swear
Exhale breath because of you,
If the bugle in its belligerent tone
called to fight with courage.
For you the olive garlands!
A memory for them of glory!
For you a laurel of victory!

For them a tomb of honour!
