Uzbekistan is one of the landlocked countries in the world. But,
Uzbekistan shares its boundaries with Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan,
which are landlocked countries again. The landlocked country that is surrounded
by other landlocked countries is called double landlocked country.
Uzbekistan was under the rule of USSR till 1991. When
Uzbekistan became independent from USSR on 1st September, 1991, it has no composition to elect as the
National Anthem of Uzbekistan. So, the older version from Soviet Anthem was
adopted as the National Anthem of Uzbekistan. The original National Anthem of
Uzbekistan i.e., Soviet anthem was written and composed by Mutal Burhanov. Later,
the lyrics of the National Anthem of Uzbekistan were modified and composed by Abdulla
Oripov.
The National Anthem of Uzbekistan was originally written in Uzbek
language. But, here are the three version of the National Anthem of Uzbekistan –
Uzbek Cyrillic, Uzbek Latin Alphabet and its English translation.
