National Anthem of Singapore

Singapore is one of the most developed countries in the world. The name of Singapore was derived from the National Anthem of Singapore – Majula Singapura. Majula Singapura was selected as the National Anthem of Singapore in 1959, but was adopted as the National anthem of Singapore in 1965.
Before the independence, Singapore was under the rule of Malaysian Federation. Singapore got independence from the Malaysian Federation on 9th August, 1965. The National Anthem of Singapore was written and composed by Zubir Said. Actually Mujula Singapura, the National Anthem of Singapore was the theme song for all the official functions that were conducted in the city council of Singapore.
