Vietnam is the country that is located to the easternmost part
of the Indochina peninsula. The term Vietnam was derived from “Nam Viet”, which
means Southern Viet. Vietnam proclaimed its independence from Japan and France
on 2nd September, 1945.
The National Anthem of Vietnam has different names. It is
called the Marching song, Army march and Song of Advancing Soldiers. The
National Anthem of Vietnam was originally written in 1944. Later in 1945, it
was adopted as the National Anthem of Vietnam. The National Anthem of Vietnam
was written and composed by Văn Cao.
The National Anthem of Vietnam consists of two Vietnamese verses.
However, the first verse is the official National Anthem of Vietnam. The following
are the two verses of the National Anthem of Vietnam.

Đường vinh quang xây xác quân thù,
Thắng gian lao cùng nhau lập chiến khu.
